'Fat Princess Adventures' Update: Patch 1.02 Released, Comes With New Arena Mode
Co-op hack-and-slash adventure video game "Fat Princess Adventures" has a treat for all of its players and it's guaranteed to bring in additional fun to the game. According to IGN, developer Fun Bits Interactive has already rolled out the free DLC for its game on PlayStation 4.
The update, which is the patch 1.02, contains the the Short Cakes' Tavern and Arena Mode for free. In the Short Cakes' Tavern, gamers can meet up with old or new friends as it will be a social space made specifically for that purpose. Just Push Start also described it as a kind of hub before gaining access to the Arena.
On the other hand, the new Arena Mode is where the gamers will fight several enemies. They can also play against friends if they opt to. As detailed by the Studio Head of Fun Bits, Chris Millar, in the PlayStation Blog, gamers can unlock the Arena Mode if they are able to successfully defeat Zug in campaign play. Once that is accomplished, they can move to Castle Arena where they can battle against "endless hordes of enemies."

If they are able to accomplish the campaign, they will be able to reach the Swamp where they can play against friends in the Temple Arena. Miller also wrote, "These two new arenas pair players together against an onslaught of enemies that will put your survival skills to the test."
Aside from that, Fun Bits has also brought in a new item to the store. Gamers can now check out the Super Awesome Hero Loot pack, which contains a cool gear pack to turn gamers into a hero that they've always wanted to be. They can also opt to customize their look by adding in scars, tattoos, makeup and more. Moreover, new weapons will also be made available including the Engineer's Escape Pajamas, Stun Baton and Impact Mathemagicks.
