'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 News: Actor Cliff Curtis Knows The Reason Behind The Zombie Outbreak?

Long before "Fear The Walking Dead" hit the airwaves, executive producer Robert Kirkman had already made it clear that the show wouldn't reveal the root cause of the zombie apocalypse.

Followers of the series and its parent show, "The Walking Dead," as well as the graphic novel materials from which they were based, were quite fine with the arrangement. However, this won't stop people from thinking about the origin of the zombie virus. And one of those who is pondering about the mystery is FWD cast member Cliff Curtis.

The actor, who plays Travis Manawa in the AMC hit TV series, recently had an exclusive interview with Collider where he expressed his disappointment for not having to know the exact cause of the Walker disease.

"I'm not okay with that. I want to know how all of this happen. I'm like, "Come on, guys! Give me the information!" he told the publication.

Curtis further revealed to the media outlet the amount of homework he'd done for the topic. The theory was posted online, probably from die-hard fans of the shows, and he thinks it's "a good one." However, he dished out his own take of the puzzle and apparently, it revolves around the present day issue of immunization.

According to him, there's a high possibility that it involves the government's law around immunization and how, in one fateful instance, things go wrong. He further likened it to a bad batch of cars of which, despite its failure to follow the specifications, the manufacturers can't pull them back.

"What if that happened with inoculations and you had a bad batch, but legally, by law, you had to inoculate your children and your family? It would be mayhem," he said to Collider.

Despite all the hidden reasons, the New Zealand actor told the website how excited he is for the second season and to find out what happens next for his character's family especially with Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie), who just lost a mother because of the outbreak.

"Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2 is slated to hit the small screens 2016. Stay tuned for more updates.
