"Fear the Walking Dead" is set to come back for Season 2B which will have 8 episodes set in Mexico. The show will be adding new characters and more action for the walkers.

The second half of the season will be focused on Nick's (Frank Dillane) life and journey. It will also show what happens to each character who went their own separate way.

However, there will be a prolonged cliffhanger for the fans since questions from the first half of the season will not be answered during the first episode.

As a prequel to the popular series, "The Walking Dead," there have been questions of whether a crossover will take place in the upcoming season. There are also links that show this possibility.

A Crossover May Not Be Possible

Dave Erickson, producer of the series, stated that the crossover may not be possible for now. He added that there have been no plans in doing so at this point. He concluded further that the two shows will have to run independently and having a crossover will complicate things.

The second season's first half ended with the Strand compound on fire. This made the group separated from each other. Madison (Kim Dickens), Ofelia (Mercedes Masohn) and Alicia (Alycia Debman Carey) were able to get together. Nick went away by himself with the thought of his family as killers. Travis (Cliff Curtis) and his son, Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie), are also going on a different path all by themselves.

The Journey Will Begin

Daniel was the one who set the place on fire. It was a place where Celia believed that these zombies were for her to keep.

When the second half of the season kicks in, the characters will be in a different world and will face more challenges as they go on with each of their journeys.

For now, fans can only hope for a better series for these characters. It has been made clear that a crossover may be difficult to add into the show for now.

"Fear the Walking Dead" 2B will give more than the first half of the season. The series will be back on August 21, and will give the characters more challenges as well as personal battles to face.
