Fifth Harmony, One Direction to Collaborate on New Song?
Fifth Harmony may collaborate on a new song with One Direction, based on the latest rumors.
American all-girl group Fifth Harmony is now working on their second album and is considering collaborations for some of their new songs. Rumor has it that British boy band One Direction may help work on one of the girl group's tracks, according to an Inquisitr report cited by the Latin Post.
In the past week, Fifth Harmony and One Direction were seen together twice. This sparked rumors about a possible collaboration between the two famous groups, Food World News reports.
In addition, Fifth Harmony — which is made up of Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello — has been known to work on collaborations. For their second album, they got Meghan Trainor to work with them. Plus, Cabello also had a successful tandem with Shawn Mendes, the report relays.
On Nov. 26, the two famous groups performed during the 2015 Premios Telehit at the Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City, the report adds.
During the recent 2015 American Music Awards, Fifth Harmony and One Direction were also seen sitting next to each other. The moment was photographed and posted on Fifth Harmony's Instagram account. Hollywood Life also reports that the two groups were spotted hanging out at a London Club in the middle of Fifth Harmony's European tour.
All these sightings of Fifth Harmony and One Direction together may just be pure coincidence. However, rumors about their collaboration heated up all the more when Ally Brooke spoke to MTV and stayed mum on the girl group's future plans, the report details.
As of now, neither of the two groups has confirmed the rumors, but a collaboration between them is reportedly highly possible. Both Fifth Harmony and One Direction were formed from Simon Cowell's talent show "The X Factor."
