"We have created a system for FFXV where the player can decide the battle style that they and their comrades use, although this takes a different form to the gambits in FFXII," the Post quotes Prasert's statement in the game's official forum. "This will be revealed at some point in the future so look out for further information."

Combat planner Yuji Kenichiro also talked about the Monster climbing features of "Final Fantasy XV." This gameplay mechanic is crucial in battle and it allows the player to defeat their enemy by destroying certain body parts. Players can use this attack against large monsters by striking their most vulnerable spots, he explained.

Aside from that, the new game includes an upgrade to the magic gameplay. Tabata said the Noctis category will have natural magical abilities, while the other characters will have to use magic rings to cast magic, the report relays.

Meanwhile, gamers have expressed their desire to create a "Final Fantasy XV" version for PC. They launched a petition on Change.org and has since garnered more than 15,000 signatures as of this writing.

"Final Fantasy XV" is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2016. The game will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. The exact release date is expected to be announced next year.
