'Final Fantasy XV' Update: Square Enix To Announce Release Date in March 2016
After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, "Final Fantasy XV" is finally coming to town and diehard fans can have something to look forward to this New Year. According to Wired, game director Hajime Tabata has already publicized when the game's release date will be announced.
Tabata spoke in an interview with Famitsu wherein he revealed that 2016 will be the year that they are going to launch the "Final Fantasy XV." The game had been in development since the year 2005. It's not hard to see that publisher and developer Square Enix have taken their time in completing the game. But now they're ready and are gearing up to show to the world what they have been working on for a long time.

"This year, we will launch Final Fantasy XV. Currently, we've decided on all its specifications and are in production of the beta version in order to migrate to the debug phase," stated Tabata as noted in PlayStation Lifestyle.
He then went on to say that they will be making the announcement of the official release date of the game sometime in March. "You'll see 'Final Fantasy XV' at its truest during the March release date announcement presentation," Tabata added.
As for the gameplay details, the information available are scarce but the source said that Tabata revealed that Noctis' story of transitioning from a young prince to becoming king of the country will be a highlight. The gameplay and storytelling will also be incorporated together in a way that will not seem like it's forced.
The game is expected to be worth the wait as Tabata and his team have been working hard to delivering a game that will really bring an amazing and unique gameplay experience. As detailed in Engadget, Tabata promised that everyone working for "Final Fantasy XV" will do everything they can to finish it on time.
