'Fortnite' Battle Royale Rocket Surfing Trick

The fun thing about Early Access games is that players can still discover outrageous quirks that they can use and abuse in-game. This is particularly true for "Fortnite" Battle Royale players have recently started using rocket launchers as vehicles by way of "rocket surfing."

In the recent Twitter post, community manager K.L. Smith acknowledged that some community members have found out that rockets are not only dangerous weapons but also effective modes of transportation. While he didn't exactly say if Epic Games approves of the trick, he did tell players to "ride the wave" suggesting that it's probably here to stay.

The trick was first discovered when a "Fortnite" Battle Royale player named Zaccubus was streaming the game which just received a cute Fall expansion. He then stumbled upon the event's rocket launcher, which shoots pumpkins, can be used as a vehicle by simply hopping on the projectile.

Zaccubus then tried the trick with his friends where one of them shot the rocket which he immediately rode while hoping for the best. He then proceeded to snipe two opponents in perhaps one of the most amazing and satisfying gameplay video in the game's short history. "100 percent worth it," one of his friends said in the video as everyone laughed at their accomplishment.

Soon, other players began using the trick and recording videos of themselves doing amazing stuff with the pumpkin rocket launcher. Many are already saying that even if the game is still in Early Access, the trick shouldn't be removed as it is not only entertaining but it's very hard to pull off.

More than 20 million players have already tried the multiplayer sandbox shooter since its release in Early Access. Most of its player base is concentrated in the Battle Royale mode where players utilize the game's base building gameplay in the last man standing survival game.
