Jay Z and Beyonce News: Anger as Fox Nation Calls Rapper A 'Former Crack Dealer'
The online community were witnesses to Fox Nation's recent report where they referred to rapper Jay Z as a "former crack dealer."
Fox News tweeted a link to their story titled "Andrew Cuomo Meets With Admitted Former Crack Dealer Jay-Z To Discuss Police Policy." New York governor Cuomo met with the rapper to talk about the criminal justice system and how cops enforced the law.
It didn't stop with the headline as the writer wrote Jay Z in their lead sentence that if advice is needed on the law, Cuomo headed straight for an "expert."

They also hammered home the point with references and claims that Jay Z's music career was built on his own experiences dealing crack in the Marcy housing projects in Brooklyn. They also called out the reportedly 187 references made to drugs across the singer's 12 solo albums, his drug dealing and violence.
While it is admittedly true that the rap mogul was previously involved with drug dealing, he has come a long way with his life, career and business.
Jay Z did refer to it once in an interview with Vanity Fair, saying that dealing with drugs and trying to survive helped him with his business skills.
With Fox Nation's report, some considered it inappropriate as the meeting between Cuomo and Jay Z was not about drugs, but about law enforcement.
A better title would have been to refer to the man as a businessman, a rapper or something else, and fans are expressing their outrage through social media. As of this writing, Fox Nation had yet to issue a statement on the matter and Jay Z and his publicists also have yet to comment on the headlines.
