'Friends' Reunion 2016 News: Lisa Kudrow Says There Wasn't Any Contract to Stop Cast Dating Each Other

The "Friends" reunion 2016 was finally aired on Sunday night during the tribute to Director James Burrows, and the cast members of the famous '90s sitcom were asked if they signed contracts saying they would not hook up with each other.

On Sunday night, fans witnessed the "Friends" reunion 2016 that saw Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer get together on stage for the first time since the show came to a close. Although Matthew Perry was absent from "Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows," the special episode turned out to be an amazing event, according to the Hollywood Life.

To address the circulating rumors, host Andy Cohen asked the "Friends" cast as if they were forced to sign contracts that prevented them from sleeping with each other. The question earned screams from the crowd, but the cast neither acknowledged nor denied the existence of such a contract, except for one, the Telegraph reports.

"Well, that was broken," said Schwimmer.

"I was not asked to sign anything like that," was Kudrow's reply.

Although the audience did not really find out the real answer to the question, they learned that the "Friends" cast really got along in real life. Aniston said they fell in love with each other right from the beginning and Burrows encouraged them to form a real bond with each other.

Another revelation was about the female cast's lunch. They revealed that they ate the same food for lunch for 10 years during the whole run of the series. Cox said they ate the "Jennifer" salad, which is actually a Cobb salad with garbanzo beans and turkey bacon.

Perry was unable to attend the reunion because he was in London to rehearse for his play "The End of Longing." He instead participated in the NBC special by introducing his co-stars via a recorded video.

The NBC episode that featured the "Friends" reunion 2016 was a celebration of director James Burrows' 1000th episode on television. He had directed the pilot episode of the popular sitcom, along with "Frasier," "The Big Bang Theory," "Cheers," and other shows.
