The animated musical fantasy film has become a global cultural phenomenon and, as such, fans are on the edges of their seats waiting to hear news that the sequel will soon be released. Though it took quite a while before fans heard of any developments from the sequel's production, Bell now says that production for "Frozen 2" is definitely rolling along.

In a recent interview with Collider, the actress was asked if she had already recorded lines for the sequel. "We're just about to," she answered.

According to the actress, even though the sequel's writers are still tweaking the screenplay, recording should begin within the month.

"The story is great, and they exude quality," she gushed. "What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out. That's why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one."

As the actress explained, a successful movie usually generates a second one. But the filmmakers behind "Frozen" took their time figuring out "what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging."

Bell also revealed that she has yet to begin doing song work for the sequel but that she and co-stars Idina Menzel (Queen Elsa) and Josh Gad (Olaf) regularly get together to record for the various Disney theme parks and rides all over the world.

"So we have little bits of 'Frozen' in our life at all times, but I'm excited to get started on the new movie," she said.

Disney has yet to announce an official release date for "Frozen 2."
