'Fuller House' Season 2 Premiere Date, Cast Rumors and Spoilers: Capuchin Monkey to Join Fuller House? Recap of Everything We Know So Far for Season 2

Looks like Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky are having fun monkeying around the "Fuller House" Season 2 set– quite literally, as they're caught hanging out with a white-headed capuchin monkey!

In an Instagram post, the "Grandfathered" star alongside Lori Loughlin showed off the newest member of their "Fuller House" family. John Stamos teased fans, saying, "Is that Jesse and Becky's new kid?"

People reported that the casting has yet to be confirmed, but if history–and previous iterations of various sitcoms–is anything to go by, it's likely the monkey will be playing a huge role in the upcoming season. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out the uncanny similarities of another famous capuchin monkey, Marcel, from the hit NBC sitcom "Friends". Marcel was the pet monkey of lead character Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), and was played by a female capuchin named Katie.

Season 2: What we know so far

Well, we can find out as soon as "Fuller House" Season 2 comes up. An Instagram post from Jodie Sweetin with Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Garber (who plays Stephanie, DJ, and Kimmy, respectively) showed the cast had just recently wrapped up filming for the second season!

Going back to John Stamos, who plays Uncle Jesse in the original "Full House" series: he's returned with Bob Saget to complete the original trio, and is expected in at least three episodes this upcoming season! We're also expecting a lot of retro cameos in "Fuller House" Season 2 to complete the nostalgic feel from the original series.

Unfortunately for Michelle Tanner fans, an Olsen twin appearance remains less likely to happen than landing on Pluto. It may be recalled that both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen refuse to return to the series because they no longer consider themselves as actresses. Jodie Sweetin once said the show has "essentially" given up on making them come back full-time for the show, but showrunner Jeff Franklin expressed hopes that they'll eventually visit sometime.

But never mind that, because "Fuller House's" storyline's alive and kicking: Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) is going to have a new boyfriend named Jimmy, described as "good-looking", a "musician", but with a touch on the weird side, TVLine reported. Steve, on the other hand, will be dating a DJ doppelganger named "CJ", while Matt will date a yoga instructor named "Cristal". Both men, obviously playing for DJ's attention–will they work?

Excited for "Fuller House" Season 2? No premiere date has been set yet, but with the cast wrapping up the season, it's bound to be around the corner!
