'Fuller House' Teaser Reveals February Release Date for Netflix Original Series

"Fuller House" will see the Tanner house residents return after 20 years when the Netflix original series premieres on Feb. 26, 2016.

On Thursday, Netflix released its official teaser for the original series "Fuller House," which will air in February. Although not all of the cast will come back for the sequel, the teaser hints that Candace Cameron, Dave Coulier, and John Stamos will be part of the upcoming series, according to Entertainment Weekly.

In the teaser, no characters were visible in the house, save the family dog who runs to the door upon hearing the Tanner clan's voices. The dog is speculated to be a descendant of the family's furry friend Comet. The scene shows the kitchen and the living room of the Tanner residence, the report details.

The newly released clip reflects a few modern touches in the Tanners' home, but it is still basically the same house in which the family grew up, Tech Times reports.

The upcoming show will take place 20 years after the Tanner clan spent some time away from home. It will feature the time when the now widowed D.J. Tanner, who is played by Cameron, has moved back to her childhood home.

She will then ask her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and her best friend Kimmy Gibble (Andrea Barber) for help in rearing her three children. Extended family members will also accompany her in her new phase in life, the report relays.

Meanwhile, the Olsen sisters will not return to play Michelle Tanner. However, the series will enlist guest stars Stamos as Jesse Katsopolis, Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, Lori Loughlin as Becky Katsopolis, Scott Weinger as Steve Hale, and Coulier as Joey Gladstone, the report details.

"Fuller House" will have 13 episodes for its first season and will debut on Feb. 26 on Netflix. Fans will have to stay tuned to the show to find out the changes in the beloved characters of the series.
