Galaxy S7 Rumors: Samsung to Fast Track Flagship Release Date to January 2016?
Rumors have emerged Samsung is reportedly speeding up production of its next flagship to ensure its launch by the early part of next year.
South Korean tech giant, Samsung, aiming to jump the gun on closest competitor, Apple, is said to be gearing up to a January 2016 reveal for its upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S7.
According to a report published in South Korea's Electronic Times, industry insiders have information that Samsung will attempt to corner the high-end mobile phone market with a earlier launch than expected, in order to sideline some of the iPhone 6s sales.

By introducing the S7 at an earlier date, Samsung is hoping customers will gravitate to the new flagship instead of enduring the long wait to purchase a 6s.
With the Galaxy S7's design finalized last month, Samsung is reportedly ramping up its production operations to ensure an earlier distribution window come January, and giving potential customers a shorter waiting time before the S7 ships out.
An earlier launch schedule will also give Samsung a head start on Apple's 2016 product launching, as well as an earlier promotions boost before other Android smartphone brands which will be announcing their new products at 2016 MWC in Barcelona, Spain in February.
According to reports, the Galaxy S7 will be carrying the new ESS Technology SABRE 9018AQ2M chip for the clearest audio seen in any smartphone currently in the market.
Equipped with a 32-bit mobile audio DAC, the SABRE is said to have a 129 dB signal to noise ratio, and supports DSD audio formats utilized by Sony.
There have been rumors Samsung is set to purchase American rapper Jay-Z's floundering music streaming service Tidal, after the artist was spotted in a meeting with Samsung executives, and the tech manufacturer is said to be looking into focusing on higher-quality audio streaming for its latest Galaxy phone.
Sporting a 5.7-inch screen with a 4K display, and a slim glass and metal build, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is also rumored to have a stronger Turtle Glass screen to replace Gorilla Glass 3, and is touted to have Synaptics' ClearForce touch technology allowing users to access different functions depending on the degree of pressure exerted on the phone's touchscreen.
