'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Release Date, Plot Spoilers: Video Footage Upsets Fans as HBO Refuses to Show Jon Snow
In what could be one of the most disappointing moves made by HBO, a year-end preview clip from the network revealed some new scenes that fans should see in season 6 of "Game of Thrones," and sadly, there was no sign of Kit Harington's Jon Snow.
According to MTV, the footage only shows Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) with a seemingly confused look at an unknown location, Cersei (Lena Headey) locked in a tight embrace with Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman), and finally, Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) on a high run with his horse.
Fans have expressed their dismay over the new footage as HBO continues to keep Jon Snow under wraps, further fueling debates as to whether he will really return to the show or not.

While Snow's disappearance could open doors for an interesting storyline and add more spice to possible new conflict, fans don't seem to like the idea of not having a strong and handsome Snow around for season 6.
Meanwhile, a lot of rumors are going on as to what the upcoming installment will offer. One of the speculations that has largely become a part of debates these days is that Jon Snow's parentage will finally be revealed.
According to The Telegraph, the hottest name on the list of rumored people who could possibly turn out as Snow's father is Ned Stark (Sean Bean). Another name pitted against Ned for Snow's real dad is Rhaegar and Lyanna. Due to the theory's popularity, fans have created a formula that sounds pretty good: R + L = J.
A fan has even made a video that could support the theory. The video made by Robbie McD shows some scenes that he claims could support for the claim that Rhaegar and Lyanna are the real parents of Jon.
What's interesting is if Jon turns out to carry the blood of a Targaryen, he is then Daenerys' kin, thus allowing for him to have a spot for a chance to get the throne.
"Game of Thrones" season 6 is expected to start airing on April 2016.
