'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: Kit Harington Says People Have 'To Get Used To' Jon Snow Being Dead
There has been so much talk over the past year over whether or not Jon Snow (Kit Harington) did, in fact, die in that scene at the end of the Season 5 finale, when he was betrayed and brutally attacked by his "sworn brothers" of the Night's Watch.
Many of the cast members of the award-winning HBO fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones" have given their comments about it and teased that controversial ending, the latest being Maisie Williams saying that she "can't say that he's going to be alive."
Harington himself has opted to mainly steer clear of the press during the show's hiatus, leaving fans to gather clues about his character's fate by keeping a close eye on the actor's hairstyle, the rationale being that if Harington chops off his hair, Snow is surely dead and done with.

Now, just a few months before the latest season of the popular series premieres, the actor has spoken up about Jon Snow, telling Digital Spy that fans should just "get used to" the fact that the Lord Commander is dead.
"People didn't want me to die, but he's dead," Harington said. "So there you go, everyone has to get used to it."
As though to assure everyone that he really is done with the series, the actor also said, "I haven't done 'Thrones' in a while." "I had quite a lot of time off last year," he revealed, adding: "I've been taking it easy. And relaxing."
This surprising revelation seems to corroborate Williams' recent comment, but may be a bit hard for avid Jon Snow fans to accept.
The actor also opened up about his feelings on the Season 5 finale, saying: "I was hoping that there would be an outcry of 'why?' and 'oh god, no, no' rather than 'thank god'. That was the right reaction as far as I was concerned!"
The sixth season of "Game of Thrones" premieres on April 24 on HBO.
