'Gears of War 4' News: Enhanced Version to Be Released on Xbox One X in November

Xbox One X players can look forward to an enhanced version of "Gears of War 4" soon.

Xbox recently released a trailer showcasing the enhanced version of the popular game. The trailer features some gameplay and boasts improved graphics. Interested players can now try out the new version since a 10-hour trial is already available.

According to the game's website, the enhanced version for the Xbox One X will allow players to experience true 4K quality with "unmatched clarity, richness and details." This can be done through the Visuals Rendering Mode. The feature is not only beneficial to those with a 4K screen since improved graphics can also be enjoyed with 1080p resolution.

Apart from 4K, the visuals of the game were also greatly upgraded through HDR, or High Dynamic Range, which makes the colors much more accurate.

The Visuals Rendering Mode is not the only new mode in the enhanced version of the game, though. There is also the Performance Rendering Mode. The Visuals Rendering Mode, as the name indicates, allows for better graphics and overall visuals through the use of Ultra Quality Textures. The frame rate in this mode is 30fps for Campaign and Horde.

On the other hand, the Performance Rendering Mode focuses on frame rates, boasting a whopping 60fps in 1080p in both Campaign and Horde. That does not mean this mode will have terrible visuals. On the contrary, the graphics will also have high resolution. While not all the new graphical features from the Visuals mode can be found here, there are still quite a number of them.

Aside from the visual quality of the game, the Xbox One X enhanced version will also boast better audio quality. With Dolby Atmos audio support, players will find the game very immersive.

Fans who already own "Gear of War 4" will get the free enhancement update on the Xbox One X on Nov. 7.
