'Gilmore Girls' Reunion Update: Keiko Agena Reprising Her Role as Lane Kim?
A lot of things are going on in the Netflix realm, and in one recently, bits of news are slowly coming in for one of the most-awaited revivals that will ever take place in the history of television.
Ever since the "Gilmore Girls" revival was announced in 2015, fans have been looking forward to any information from Netflix. While there have been very few words from the executives, the company's Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos, said during the Television Critics Association that they will have to iron everything out before making official announcements for the show.
According to TV Line, Sarandos said, "I can't tell you much about Gilmore Girls. We're still working on buttoning down everything before our announcements."

It is expected that Amy Sherman-Palladion and executive producer Daniel Palladino will work on the script. It was also reported that the two will be directing the entire revival, even if negotiations are still going on with the show's original cast members: Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore), Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore), and others.
Meanwhile, another cast member is hot on social media after she seemed to tease that she will be reprising her role. Keiko Agena, who played the role of Lane Kim, said on Instagram: "With the REAL LIFE Lain Kim, Helen Pai. :) Good things are coming." Her post accompanied a photo of her with Pai, who happens to be a close friend of Palladino, who is the show's creator.
Agena's post gave fans the idea that she may be picking up her role once the show returns, and while there is no confirmation, fans expressed excitement over the possibility of the actress' return.
The series' revival will see four episodes with 90 minutes each, making the episodes appear to be mini movies. There are not too many details about the plot, but rumor has it that the story will pick up where it left back in 2007.
