'Girl Meets World' Season 3 Spoilers: Angela and Shawn to Rekindle Flame in Upcoming Season?
The upcoming season of "Girl Meets World" is piling up with hints and teasers, especially after Trina McGee's Instagram posts dropped more obvious hints that there is something up for her character, Angela, in season 3.
McGee's posts have since been deleted, but thanks to hawk-eyed fans who were able to preserve the photos. Tumblr user BMGMW took screen shots of the actress' posts for the world to ponder on as production continues for the third installment.
In one of the photos where she seems to be on a dinner date with her former flame, McGee hinted: "Once upon a time ... is coming back." Series writers have also confirmed McGee's return, stating that her character will be playing an important role when the show returns.

According to Enstarz, Angela returned in "Girl Meets Hurricane," and since then, fans have been wishing for the love between her and Shawn (Rider Strong) to be rekindled. When Angela made her return, she only visited the town and asked Shawn what if he sees her as a good mother, and luckily for the married ex-lover, Shawn agreed that Angela will make an amazing mom.
While it is unclear if the former couple will reunite in season 3 since Angela is married, fans speculate that the writing team could possibly make things work for the two to patch things up.
Aside from the possibility of another romantic storyline for Shawn and Angela, the upcoming season will also feature Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya's (Sabrina Carpenter) high school life. The Wrap reported earlier that Luke Benward, Ashley Argota, and Claudia Lee have been cast as guest stars.
There is no specific news about the three guests' roles, but it is rumored that they will be upperclassmen who will either make the best friends enjoy or regret their entry into a higher stage of education. It is expected that the two young ladies, including Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis), will go through ups and downs that will teach them the things they need to cope with high school.
There is no official premiere date announced yet, but it is speculated that season 3 of "Girl Meets World" will return spring 2016.
