'Girl Meets World' Season 3 Spoilers: Is Riley Queer?

Even though the most recent season of "Girl Meets World" had just ended, fans are already curious about how Riley and Maya will be in the upcoming season.

The finale of "Girl Meets World" Season 2 dwelled on the tension between Maya, played by Sabrina Carpenter, and Riley, played by Rowan Blanchard. The whole season had built up with love triangle between the two best friends and their common crush, Lucas.

While fans were expecting to see their love problems solved, the finale did not provide a resolution to their conflict. With that, there is much expectation that the third season will continue addressing the obstacle in Maya and Riley's friendship.

There is a lot of worry regarding their friendship as there is a chance that the love triangle could destroy Maya and Riley's bond. The writers of the series also hinted at the damage the love triangle could create in the third season of "Girl Meets World."

The official twitter account of "Girl Meets World" recently tweeted, "Not the end of the triangle. Because it's not a triangle. Tonight: The beginning of something else."

The tweet caused some speculations that played with the idea of Riley's sexuality. There are theories suggesting that Riley will eventually come out as queer, which will further complicate the situation more. However, there details have yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, the writers of the series also gave more teasers about the upcoming episodes of "Girl Meets World" Season 3. The account posted the titles of the episodes to come. From the post, fans can expect to see the group of friends getting used to a new environment: high school.
