'Gotham' Season 2 Episode 10 Spoilers: Galavan's Release Prompts Jim Gordon To Take Matters Into His Own Hands

Things are about to get messy and more intense as the second season of Fox's hit crime drama TV series "Gotham" moves on this week with an episode that will see the titular city's brave police, Detective Jim Gordon, facing off against Theo Galavan and his Brotherhood.

In the previous episode of the show, Tabitha Galavan attempted to end the life of the man who locked up her brother. But Gordon withstood the ordeal, proving once again that he's a force to be reckoned with. The younger Galavan, on the other hand, got scolded by Theo for rushing things. As the episode comes to a close, it was revealed that Theo's Brotherhood, the Order of St. Dumas, is already in the city and ready to make their move.

Putting more complications in the situation is the fact that Theo will be getting out of prison. In the spoiler report from FranchiseHerald.com, it is indicated that the court will release Galavan from prison. This turn of events will eventually force Gordon to take matters into his own hands.

In fact, the promo video for the episode titled "Son of Gotham" featured an angry Jim Gordon throwing a solid punch at Theo. The clip further showed the GCPD officer engaging in a huge battle with Galavan.

The synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic, meanwhile, provided more information on the episode. It says that Gordon will get hold of a suspect that could pin down Galavan. However, he will fall short of acquiring any substantial information.

Bruce Wayne, on his part, will continue in his mission to discover the name of his parents' killer. Fans may remember that Theo had teased the young man that he holds the details of the murderer. Bruce was horrified to see the envelope full of the details burned in Theo's fireplace. It seems like nothing could stop the future Batman from finding out who really destroyed his family.

"Gotham" Season 2 airs Monday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. on FOX.
