'Gotham' Season 2 News: More Villains Coming to Series
Warner Bros. Television has announced "Gotham" Season 2 will bring in more villains, with a number of the previous Season's cast upgraded to regular characters.
Barely a month after Warner Bros.' "Gotham" Season One ended, the production company released information the crime drama television series would be swelling up its villain ranks, with several temporary characters upgraded to series regulars.
Nicholas D'Agosto's Harvey Dent is one role such character getting the thumbs-up for series regular, and audiences may expect to see more crime fighting as well as courtroom drama from the "Masters of Sex" star.

Morena Baccarin's Dr. Leslie Thompkins, and Chris Chalk's Lucius Fox have also been promoted to Season 2 regulars.
Season 2 will also bring The Joker to the forefront, after Season One's finale heavily hinted at his character's continuing development. The same treatment will be given Michael Smith's Edward Nygma/Ridder growing persona.
Fans may expect the arrival of villain Mr. Freeze, along with the Mad Hatter, Tommy Elliot, Hugo Strange and Clayface. Screen Crush reports the Court of Owls may even make an appearance.
According to Cinemablend, two other villains will be appearing as well: one a handsome, cultured, intelligent and articulate character, and the other described as a "sexy knock-out."
Season 2 will reportedly show audiences the gradual development of Bruce Wayne's billionaire persona he shows to the public while he continues to dig deeper into his parents' murder, while Jada Pinkett Smith's Fish Mooney character has been announced as leaving the series for the second season.
No news has yet been released whether Season 2 will swell up into the previous Season's 22 episodes, however, Warner Bros. has confirmed the upcoming Season 2 premiere will make its debut on Fox on its 8 p.m. E.T. Monday slot this fall.
