The first trailer of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 is out. It seems that this season does not look good for Alex Karev (Justin Chambers).

It is speculated that the upcoming season is going to be filled with drama. There are also reports that Grey's Anatomy is the last season of the longest running series. It is the main reason why all the drama for the show is put into Season 13.

As the show is reported to focus on the original cast, so fans are expected to see Dr. Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) back into the action. Yang left the series right after Season 10. She is also happy to get back if the show needs her.

If she comes back to this upcoming season, it may cause more drama to her relationship. Dr. Karev has moved on after they split up and has proposed marriage to Jo. It can be recalled that Jo repeatedly denied Karev's proposal because she once married an abusive man.

Dr. Meredith Grey's (Ellen Pompeo) life is not excused from the drama. One greatest event in her life which is of impact is when her husband, Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) died. Since then, Grey has always worked on raising her three children and rebuild her life as a surgeon. Season 12 sees her to be back in the game again. She starts dating again and is back on track. It seems that Season 13 will also be promising for Dr. Grey.

Aside from the original cast being the focus for this upcoming season, Grey is also speculated to die. Showrunner Shonda Rhimes is silent about any details for Grey's Anatomy Season 13. The answer to this speculation is to be revealed in Season 13.

Meanwhile, Miranda (Chandra Wilson) and Ben also have their share of marital issues. The relationship was tested when Ben was suspended from residency. However, the couple will surely work things out in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. Shonda Rhimes shared that even if Bailey gets jealous or Ben is having a hard time with his job, eventually the two will figure things out together.

Fans and followers can expect the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 to be back on September 22, 2016.
