There's only three more episodes left before the hit supernatural drama TV series from NBC, "Heroes Reborn," closes up its 13-episode story arc. Fans, on the other hand, are quite expectant that the series will be given a greenlight for a sophomore season. Will it get one?
The show, which was touted to bring back the "Heroes" craze, was initially intended to go for just one season. However, it seems like there are some plans to carry it over for more seasons.
Series creator Tim Kring himself is quite confident that the show will get the renewal. In his interview with Variety last year, the executive producer revealed that despite the limited order, he always felt "that the brand was elastic enough and a broad enough premise."

"It's a show about ordinary people with extraordinary powers. It's an indeterminate [amount of] people around the world and then they have to save the world. I feel confident that we can find more story to tell with some returning characters and new ones," he told the media outlet.
However, when it comes to the numbers, it appears that the show might not be around anymore after it airs its finale.
The report from TVByTheNumbers.com indicates that there has been quite a significant dip in viewer ratings since its opening down to the last few episodes before the show took off for its midseason break.
Given the uncertainty of things, followers of the series might just have to wait for an official announcement from NBC for a "Heroes Reborn" Season 2.
For the meantime, the show is now ready to kick off its midseason premiere.
Titled "Send In The Clones," HollywoodHills.com said that the new episode will find Miko and Tommy joining forces as they head over to topple Erica and put an end to her plan to get rid of the Evos.
"Heroes Reborn" Season 1 airs Thursday, Jan. 7, at 8/7c p.m. on NBC.
