'Homeland' Season 5 Episode 5 Spoilers: Promo Materials Tease Carrie, Saul Reunion; Quinn Urges Carrie To Rob For Meds
The events are getting more complicated as the fifth season of Showtime's hit political drama TV series "Homeland" moves on this week with an episode titled "Better Call Saul."
Citing the promo images shared by International Business Times, it seems likely that Carrie will find herself in the presence of the very person who ordered for her death, Saul Berenson. Fans may remember Saul contracting Quinn to take a hit on Carrie. The photos, however, revealed the opposite side as the two looked sombre together. Saul can be seen in the picture talking earnestly to the ex-CIA operative while the latter stares blankly outside of the window car with her dark-hair wig. What could be the two former colleagues be discussing?
Meanwhile, a promo video for the segment, this time shared over at Design & Trend, reveals the difficult situation Carrie and Peter Quinn are in. In the sneak peek, Carrie discovers that her badly-wounded partner is high on fever and is too weak to stand. Upon further inquiry, Carrie finds out that the gunshot wound is already infected and needs immediate remedy.
"Tell me what to do?" Carrie, who is clearly worried of his condition, asked.
Quinn then suggested an idea that may or may not come as doable for Carrie. He told her about an emergency room located nearby and that he needs her to commit an armed robbery to get the required medical supplies. Before it could be revealed if she will do the job or not, the video cut off.
Prior to the events in the teaser, Carrie had gone to see Peter's former flame, Astrid, where she asked for some help.
"She likes me. What can I say?" Quinn muttered in the midst of the pain.
"Her one redeeming quality as far as I can tell," quipped Carrie.
Find out how these events unfold when "Homeland" Season 5 airs this Sunday, Nov. 1, on Showtime.
