The 2016 Honda Civic boasts of a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces a maximum of 174 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft of torque. This feature is exclusive for the EX trim and with a CVT only. But those who do not want the turbo can opt for the 2-liter 4-cylinder engine that puts out a maximum of 158 horsepower and 138 lb.-ft. of torque, the report details.

In terms of appearance, the 2016 Honda Civic does not disappoint with its multi-LED headlights with chrome trim. It also features a coupe-like roofline at the back, and a 5-door hatchback will be added in the next few years, the report relays.
The 2016 Civic gains another plus point because of its better handling performance. Because of the new structure of its chassis, the new model now provides a smoother highway drive and a better road-holding on the rougher roads, Forbes reports.
As for the interior, the 2016 Honda Civic is definitely a step ahead of the ninth-gen model. Gone are the digital gauges and the two-tier screen design, and they have been replaced with a digital tachometer/speedometer display front and center. The new car has been made to be more user-friendly, and it can now accommodate five passengers with their things because its interior volume has been expanded.
The base LX trim Civic model comes with a price tag of $18,640. The EX-T trim, on the other hand, is a bit more expensive than that, while the top-tier Touring trim costs $26,500. All in all, the 2016 Honda Civic is a very good package for the given price.
