The Honda Civic 2016 is now being highly anticipated by fans after news broke out about the 10th-generation car being available in nine exterior paint colors.

Leaked information about the Honda Civic 2016's exterior and interior colors created quite a stir among fans, especially after they were disappointed with the release of the ninth-generation car. The 10th-generation Civic will have nine exterior paint colors aside from the usual colors, according to Christian Today.

Based on information published by Auto Blog, the Honda Civic 2016's exterior will be available in Taffeta White, White Orchid Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Rallye Red, Aegean Blue Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Burgundy Night Pearl, and Cosmic Blue Metallic. The car's interior, on the other hand, will be availale in black, ivory, and gray options.

The new Honda Civic is being touted as a competition for the Audi and BMW compact cars. The overall build of the new car is expected to provide a comfortable experience for both drivers and passengers, Torque News reports.

Honda says the 2016 Civic has a more sporty and more angular look compared with its predecessor, with a sportback design. It is also lower and wider than the ninth-generation Civic, the report details.

The interior of the Honda Civic 2016 boasts of a clean and simple design, with a centralized infotainment system that already includes most of the controls. The system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, plus it has a seven-inch screen to top it all off.

Aside from the colors and interior, the Honda Civic 2016 offers a set of semi-autonomous safety features. Consumers can choose from different Honda Sensing suite options that include Road Departure Mitigation, Collision Mitigation Breaking, and Low-Speed Flow, which has adaptive cruise control for heavy traffic situations, the report relays.

For now, the price of the Honda Civic 2016 remains under wraps. Its predecessors, on the other hand, have carried price tags between $18,490 and $19,290.
