'Hot in Cleveland' Ends Show After 6 Seasons

TV Land's "Hot in Cleveland" ended its six-season run Monday, as network president Larry W. Jones has mentioned in a statement. The series centered on the lives of three friends who move from Los Angeles to Cleveland, renting a house owned by a caretaker played by Betty White.

"It's been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White as well as our executive producers Suzanne Martin, Todd Milliner, Sean Hayes, and the rest of our exceptional writers, production team and crew," said Jones in the statement.

"The passion and talent they brought to the set each and every week over the past five years has put TV Land on the map as a network dedicated to quality original programming. We will continue to celebrate the show and are looking forward to a fantastic series finale," he added.

"I'm so glad we had this time together. @Wolfiesmom @WendieMalick @BettyMWhite," she added along with the hashtags "HotInCleveland" and "FarewellSeason."

Malick has also thanked her fans on a tweet. "Ok first of all, you #HotinCleveland fans are totally awesome… secondly, next April, we're going out in a blaze of glory!" she writes.

The sixth season of the series first aired Nov. 5 earlier this month.
