'House of Cards' Season 4 News: Casting Announcement Revealed Show's Production Stage Nearly Wrapping Up

Netflix's critically-acclaimed political drama TV series "House of Cards" is now getting ready to return to the small screen next year for its fourth season.

The show stars Kevin Spacey as the highly-ambitious politician and current onscreen president of the United States, Frank Underwood, and Robin Wright as Claire Underwood.

There hasn't been much known, officially, about the upcoming installment of the series including its new plot and casting list. However, a casting report that surfaced online this week reveals the show is actually already on its way to wrapping up its production.

A report from The Baltimore Sun revealed that HoC was filming in Baltimore, Maryland and that they were looking for extras to work on the final episode of Season 4.

Casting directors, the publication said, were particularly on the lookout for reporters, photographers, videographers, and boom operators to work on the aforementioned scene. Interested parties may learn the full casting guidelines through this Project Casting link.

As suggested in the details, it seems like the roles they're looking to fill are intended for behind-the-scene parts. However, the call particularly pointed out that the show was looking for "new faces" and professionals who haven't worked in the last couple of months.

In a closely related topic, a report from Fansided.com reveals the possible date that HoC Season 4 might return to the TV and Movie list in Netflix next year.

According to the media outlet, the Beau Willimon-produced series, which is based on BBC's mini-series of the same name, will probably be made available for binge-watching by March in 2016.

The site pointed out the prevalent one-year and 13-day interval which happens between the seasons since the show came out.

The site goes on to explain that if Season 1 premiered Feb. 1, 2013, Season 2 on Feb. 14, 2014, and then the latest season aired on Feb. 27, then it would be a safe bet that "House of Cards" Season 4 will come out March 11, 2016.

The outing date speculation is based on the condition that the show will follow the pattern. Nonetheless, the official release date should come from the web streaming service itself.

Stay tuned for more updates.
