'House of Cards' Season 4 Premiere Date Revealed, Teaser Video Shows Fake Political Ad for Frank Underwood

American political drama television series "House of Cards" is returning soon for its fourth season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show's main character Frank Underwood, who is played by Kevin Spacey, will be coming back to Netflix on Friday, March 4, 2016 for the premiere of a brand new season.

The first teaser trailer has also been released already but it's not the typical promo that people usually expect. Instead of showing a glimpse of what will happen next in the series, Netflix aired the teaser in a fake political ad manner wherein Underwood is campaigning as a presidential candidate.

The teaser was given a spot to air during the actual GOP primary debate on CNN. And right before Spacey as Underwood closed the promo, he says, "America, I'm only getting started." His campaign site, www.fu2016.com, is then flashed. Gizmodo noted that the campaign website will be worth checking out as it is said to contain lots of Easter Eggs and "House of Cards" in-jokes.

In other news, Screen Crush detailed that Colm Feore will be joining the cast in the upcoming season. The site mentioned that the "Thor" actor will be appearing as "a high-profile new character." Neve Campbell is also said to be playing an "equally mysterious" role. Reports also say that fans can expect the return of Kim Dickens ("Fear the Walking Dead"), Lars Mikkelsen ("Sherlock") and Paul Sparks.

While fans wait for the events of the fourth season, Coming Soon noted that the third season saw Frank and his wife Claire (Robin Wright) pursuing their "ruthless rise to power as threats mount on all fronts." But Cinema Blend reported that their marriage is on the rocks as it has always been. The question of whether Claire will finally step down from being the First Lady is still to be answered. Season 3 finale showed Claire telling Frank that she will be moving out of the White House.
