'House of Cards' Season 4 Rumors: Claire Files for Divorce?

The upcoming season of "House of Cards" is getting hotter than ever, especially with the trailer recently released by Netflix reminding everyone how poor Rachel went six feet below the ground.

In the finale of season 3, fans were dumbfounded after Doug (Michael Kelly) decided that he was heartless enough to take power to the next level. Rachel (Rachel Brosnahan) was supposed to start anew, but all her dreams went down the drain as the last viewers saw was her body being filled up with dirt.

While Rachel's demise was one of the most-talked-about topics in the finale, what made the cliff-hanging end of the season more spectacular was Claire's (Robin Wright) stunning red carpet exit from Frank's (Kevin Spacey) life.

The new trailer didn't reveal anything about Frank and Claire's marriage and how it will be in season 4, but with the vengeful politician groundbreaking his campaign without his wife, it seems that the season won't be an easy one.

Aside from Claire's absence during Frank's campaign for presidency, the season 3 finale only added to speculations that she didn't just walk out on Frank for nothing — she did it for good. Rumors suggest that this season may not only give political struggles for the hopeful presidential but marriage issues as well.

To be more specific, there is a good chance Claire will decide to completely end all ties with Frank — she will possibly file for divorce. The possibility is not only something that will blow Frank's character away but it will also threaten his candidacy as his wife has gained a crowd of fans and supporters.

It would be interesting to see if Frank is willing to turn everything down so he can save his marriage — something that is so far from his plans at the moment.

To find out if Claire will do the impossible, tune in to "House of Cards" season 4, airing March 4 on Netflix.
