'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 3 Spoilers: What Really Happened To Rebecca

After two seasons of "How To Get Away With Murder," fans are still wondering about what happened to Rebecca. The premiere season of the hit series ended with Rebecca's death.

However, audiences did not know how Rebecca really died. There were several hints that characters Annalise and Frank. Her death greatly affected Wes, who was dating Rebecca during that time Season 2 of "How To Get Away With Murder" then explore new storylines, leaving the murder of Rebecca still in question.

Though Wes is still under the impression that Rebecca is dead, the executive producer of the series Pete Nowalk shared some hints about her death. According to Entertainment Weekly, Nowalk explained that there is a possibility that the upcoming season will give teasers into the happenings regarding Rebecca.

He said, "I don't know how much we'll be going back to that. At this point, now that he knows that Annalise has been protecting him from Wallace this whole time and now that Wallace has been shot, that pales in comparison."

Aside from Rebecca, the upcoming season could also bring more depth into the history of the present characters. Nowalk said, "Both of their backstories, we've hinted at certain things, but we haven't shown it. The storylines that I have in my head are very rich and complex, so I don't know when we'll tell them, but I think they are worth seeing."

He teased that season 3 could bring some interesting details about Frank and Bonnie. These are characters that were not develped as well as the other characters of the series.

With that, fans can expect some intriguin twists ahead. "How To Get Away With Murder" season 3 is expected to premiere later this year.
