How Zack Snyder Plans to Fix DC Franchise with 'Justice League' After 'BvS' Failure
Because of all the backlash Zack Snyder received for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," he has a lot of plans for the upcoming "Justice League" that will bring the franchise back to the top.
The recently released film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" had mixed reviews due to its underdeveloped storyline. While some fans of the franchise were happy to see hints of the famous "Justice League," others protested against Snyder's influence on the film.
How Will Snyder Redeem Himself?
Snyder recently spoke to IGN about how he plans to right his wrongs in the new "Justice Leage" movie. During the Q&A session, Snyder teased some exciting details in the film including the relationship of The Flash and Batman.
"This is an interesting way of understanding how the movie's have gone in a progression. By no means is this the whole movie," he said, "There are parts of the movie of course where they're facing enemies and they have to get their stuff together. So it's fun for me to finally get to this point now in the progression of these three movies where we are building a team and making the Justice League, if you will."
Possible Villains
While fans are expecting to see the return of the iconic "Justice League"characters, many are curious about who they will be up against. The villain of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" was Lex Luthor Jr., who was portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg. Though the actor presented an interesting portrayal of Luthor Jr., many were disappointed with his involvement in the film.
When asked if Luthor Jr. will return, Synder merely said, "Well, I think that that's a little bit of a spoiler, but I think that Jesse's amazing and hilarious and fun. I mean, he's in prison, so who knows? Prisons in the comic book world are pretty porous places, you know?"
"Justice League" will hit theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
