HTC Desire 626 Dual-SIM Launched in India; Specs Include 13MP Camera, 5-Inch Display, Android Lollipop
HTC's new mid-range smartphone Desire 626 Dual-SIM has now landed in India. According to Hindustan Times, the additional device in the Desire line is now available in all retail stores in the country, as well as in online stores. It comes with a price tag of Rs 14,990 and will be coming in two available color variants, White Birch and Blue Lagoon.
Mobipicker detailed that the HTC Desire 626 isn't a new name though as a single-SIM variant of the device was released in China almost a year ago. But the new Desire 626 now comes with different specs. Sporting a 5-inch HD screen, the device has a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. Gadgets 360 also noted that it is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM.
Its internal memory storage capacity is 16 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. As for its camera specs, the Desire 626 features a 13-megapixel rear camera. The New Indian Express noted that it comes with a BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 28mm lens, and LED flash. On the front is a 5-megapixel camera with fixed-focus feature and also a BSI sensor.

The Taiwan-based smartphone and tablet manufacturer also equipped the device with 2,000 mAh battery, which is sufficient enough to keep the lights on for a period of time depending on usage. It is pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top.
And since the device supports dual-SIM, it accepts two Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, FM, 3G, 4G, LTE, GPS and micro-USB. It is also equipped with sensors including Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.
According to Faisal Siddiqui, president of HTC South Asia, HTC fans are more often than not searching for a stylish 4G LTE-enabled smartphone. He said that they want faster processors, network speeds and excellent battery life. The Desire 626 Dual-SIM is created for that aim.
