Nexus 9 Specs Review: Tablet Now for Sale at Google Play Store and Amazon
Google's latest tablet offering, the Nexus 9, is now available in retail stores with Google Play Store orders having made available November 3. Pricing starts at $399 for the 16GB version and $479 for the 32GB version. The Google Play Store is only offering the Wi-Fi models though with the LTE version coming soon.
Orders can also be made with Amazon but stocks are currently out and the online shop is only taking pre-orders until the store restocks. The tablet was officially unveiled in October during one of Google's press conferences alongside the Nexus 6 phablet and both devices come out of the box sporting the new Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Nexus 9 was made by HTC and – while adhering to Google's set standards and parameters – has a few features which is distinctly HTC like its front-facing speakers.

The tablet has an 8.9-inch touchscreen with a display resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It only measures 7.9mm thick and is made of a brushed aluminum frame with a soft touch matte design at the back.
Inside the tablet is a 64-bit Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset with a dual-core 2.3GHz processor and a Kepler DX1 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and two storage options, the 16GB and 32GB variants. There is no microSD card support however. The tablet is also available in three color options: Black, White, and Sand colors.
It has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, autofocus, and capable of 1080p@30fps video recording.
