Speculations also reveal that the device may be running with an Android operating system with Huawei's own Emotion UI on top.

The Huawei P9 is the successor of the company's April 2015 smartphone, the P8. There are assumptions that if the device will not be making its reveal during the MWC 2016, it may be launched at the same month that the P8 was launched - April. There's also no word about the price of the device but considering the predecessor's price, the Huawei P9 may be priced around $530 as well.

Fans who are looking forward to meeting the device will have to wait for official details. Until then, it's best to take reports with a grain of salt.
