iOS 8 Review, Shaky Beginning With 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 Bugs
The iOS 8 was unveiled during an Apple Press Conference early September this year and came out in tandem with the new iPhone 6. While expectations for the iOS 8 aren't as extravagant as the iPhone 6's, people still hoped that the new version of the operating system wouldn't just be a visual update like the iOS 7.
It wasn't fortunately and alongside an iOS 7 interface redesign, the iOS 8 came with new features as well as upgrades of already existing ones. First and foremost, the update is free and can be installed on any Apple device newer than the iPhone 4.
Essentially, the iOS 8 is available for the iPhone 4S and later, the iPad 2 and above, the iPad Mini and iPad Mini 2, and the iPod Touch 5th Generation.

One of the most notable features of the iOS 8 update is its support for third-party applications, most recently Android keyboard apps.
Recently however, most Apple users have been downgrading back to the iOS 7 after the problems emerged from upgrading to iOS 8 – battery drain, Wi-Fi, cellular, and TouchID connectivity issues among others. The release of the 8.0.1 broke more things than it fixed and the same went with the 8.0.2. Users are hoping that everything would be fixed by the time 8.0.3 came out which would pave the way for iOS 8.1.
Even with its shaky start, the iOS 8 still looks to be better than its predecessor with its rounded out design which feels snappier to use. Messaging has also been improved with more options than simply sending texts and images. Users can now send audio clips which the user can record and then attach to the message.
