The images of the 2015 iPhone appeared on Chinese blog Daliulian.net, showing a line of boxed iPhone 6s handsets in a subtle pink metal color that appear ready to ship out even before the launch.

While speculations have arisen that the images may be fake, they have further served to heighten the anticipation for Apple's new iPhone lineup.

Information released earlier on revealed the iPhone 6s would be available in grey, silver and gold variants, and the addition of the alleged new shade adds a splash of bright color to the otherwise muted hues.

Based on the images posted on Daliulian, the pink color scheme will also appear on the 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus models.

Another leaked image of a pink iPhone 6s was also spotted on 996.com, with the blog reporting the photo of a pink iPhone has been circulating online since March, strengthening the rumors the color will appear in the lineup during the September 9 launch.

In preparation for the event, German carrier, Vodafone has already offered pre-registration for the new flagship devices on its website, an annual tradition it established since the iPhone 3G was launched in 2008.

T-Mobile has also began issuing tickets which customers can store on their iOS Passbook or Wallet app to present to T-Mobile Germany stores for priority purchase eligibility when the new iPhone ships out on September 18.
