iPhone 6s: Where to get cheapest plans and deals

T-Mobile has unveiled some of the cheapest iPhone 6s plans and deals in the world, especially if customers are willing to trade in their old iPhone or another smartphone.

With T-Mobile's new iPhone 6s plans and trade-in deals, some customers may end up shelling out just $5 per month for their new phone. The affordable plans come as a surprise from a major U.S. carrier that used to exclude iPhones from its offerings, according to BGR.

Meanwhile, iPhone 6s fans in Australia and the United Kingdom can also look forward to the best deals from Apple and other participating carriers and phone outlets including Vodafone, Telstra, Tesco, EE, and Virgin, News.com.au reports.

In the United States, T-Mobile has also launched a "Jump on Demand" (JoD) option that proves to be superior to Apple's own installment plans. The JoD will force the carrier's rivals to bring down their prices if they want to keep up with T-Mobile's deals, the report details.

Yesterday, T-Mobile chief John Legera posted an announcement on Twitter confirming the carrier's newest affordable iPhone 6s deals. He added that customers will be able to achieve better pricing offers starting on Friday, if they have already preordered the phone.

"5/ On Friday, you can get the new #iPhone6s at @TMobile w/ #JUMPonDemand for $5, $10 or $15/month – depending on model and trade-in #BOOM," BGR quotes Legere's Twitter post.

With the JoD offer, customers who trade in their Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, or Note 5 can avail of the $5/month plan for the iPhone 6s 16 GB. They can also avail of the $9/month JoD for the iPhone 6s Plus 16 GB, the report relays.

Other great deals from T-Mobile include the $10/month offer when they trade in their old iPhone 5s, Note 5, or Note Edge, and the $15/month offer when they trade in other phones including the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, HTC M8, and Motorola Droid Turbo.

The new iPhone 6s will be available at selected T-Mobile outlets across the United States beginning Sept. 25 at 8 a.m. local time.
