Jack Nicholson: Brazilian Man Steals Actor's Identity
A 41-year-old Brazilian man has been arrested and charged with falsifying public documents after using a fake ID with one of the world's most recognizable faces on it, to try and open a bank account.
Bank staff in the northeast Brazilian city of Recife immediately saw the flaw in Ricardo Sergio Freire de Barros' plan when he handed over the ID with a photograph of Jack Nicholson on it.
Barros was also allegedly carrying several other ID's at the time of his arrest, 36 check books and four credit cards. However he is denying all charges against him.

Police Chief Erivaldo Guerra told CNN, the 41-year-old has been under police investigation for three months after authorities received multiple reports of fraudulent activity. Barros was allegedly using fake ID'S to open credit cards with high limits along with bank accounts, and then defaulting on the debts he would ring up. Barros also reportedly took out a business license.
Despite his entire lack of criminal cunning he managed to escape being captured by police who were investigating him for three whole months.
Police have also confirmed that the 41-year-old Brazilian man looks nothing at all like the 74-year-old Academy Award winning American actor. "There is no resemblance between the suspect and the actor" local police said.
Barros at least did make a minor attempt to conceal the fact he was using a photo of the star, by signing the ID Joao Pedro dos Santos, rather than Jack Nicholson.
Nicholson has received Academy Award nominations 12 times, and has won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and for "As Good as It Gets." In 1983, he was also awarded a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his work on the movie "Terms of Endearment."
