Fans may already know that Jane and Rafael are not exactly in good terms since their falling out in the previous episode. Despite their efforts to prevent drawing attention to themselves, the Santa Claus still seemed to take notice and even tried to reprimand the couple.

But Jane reacted rather unpleasantly:

"Stay out of this Santa, K?!" Jane said. The family then takes a rather awkward photo with the holiday mascot where the couple looks very glum.

The summary from TFC, also reported that Jane will be having some problems with her schooling. She'll discover that the scholarship awarded to her isn't what she expects it to be. So now, she needs to figure out how to pay for grad school if she pursues it.

In another development, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) will be having some problems with his new intern while Petra (Yael Grobglas) is still reeling over the latest predicament she finds herself in courtesy of her mother.

Meanwhile, Michael (Brett Dier) continues with his investigation.

On related news, The Washington Post shared that Rodriguez was nominated for Best Actress in a TV series – Comedy along with other actors like Julia Louis-Dreyfus of "Veep," Lily Tomlin from "Grace & Frankie," Jamie Lee Curtis from "Scream Queens," and Rachel Bloom from "CrazyEx-Girlfriend."

"Jane the Virgin" Season 2 airs this Monday, Dec. 14 on The CW.
