'Jane the Virgin' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Yael Grobglas on Petra's Long-Lost Sister; Stars, Showrunner on What's Ahead
In Monday's episode of The CW's satirical romance/comedy "Jane the Virgin," the show delved deeper into the ongoing drama of Petra (Yael Grobglas) and her long-lost twin sister, Anezka.
While Anezka doesn't seem like much of a threat to Petra, she does appear to be falling in love with Petra's ex, Rafael (Justin Baldoni).
So how will Petra deal with having her twin around? And will the two become the best of friends - or the worst of enemies?

"It will be interesting to see because it could go a few ways for her," Grobglas told The Hollywood Reporter. "Either she finally has a friend or she could get on her nerves."
According to the "Jane the Virgin" star, it would be nice for Petra to have someone in her life now that she has cut her mother out of her life for good.
Meanwhile, some of the "Jane the Virgin" cast members appeared at a "For Your Consideration" event on Tuesday, April 19, along with showrunner Jennie Synder Urman. There, the "Jane the Virgin" team spoke about whether or not Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Michael (Brett Dier) would ever get married and consummate their marriage.
"We think we're getting married," Rodriguez told the crowd (via THR).
Dier sounded equally hesitant, saying, "That could happen."
While the two seemed uncertain about their characters' futures, Urman, who, with the show's writer's room, had planned out each character's story arc right up to the end of the current season, knows perfectly well what's ahead for Jane and Michael.
Though the "Jane the Virgin" boss didn't reveal any telling details about the show's remaining episodes, she did give the audience a glimpse into how each "Jane the Virgin" season is mapped out.
"We always start the beginning of the season knowing what the last, really, what the finale is going to be," Urman said. According to her, with so many different characters and stories in the show, everything has to be planned out to avoid anything being "random."
Urman also teased the series' endgame, saying, "I know the end of the whole series."
"There is an ending where a lot of things click into place, that's all I'll say, but there's a lot of planning," she said.
"Jane the Virgin" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
