'Jane The Virgin' Season 3 Updates: Eva Longoria to Direct the Show; What We Know So Far; Spoilers

Eva Longoria will be a part of the third season of "Jane the Virgin". She won't come as a guest, but as a director for an episode. She has confirmed on her Twitter account that she will be directing episode 303.

What Happened?

The previous season of the show had Michael (Brett Dier) getting shot on his wedding day. In the upcoming season, Michael might return while his wounds are still healing. Jane, on the other hand, will be dealing with the tragic event and Michael's absence. She will also be dealing with her mother-in-law who will be visiting them to take care of their child while Michael is recuperating.

There is also a possible love triangle with Jane and her childhood crush who will come into the show. The much-anticipated third season will have a lot of events and a lot of issues to deal with.

As the show is about to air soon, there are reports that Longoria will be part of the series as a director of one of the episodes. The episode that she will be directing is the episode named "Chapter Forty-Seven".

Aside from Longoria, who posted on her Twitter account of a hint about directing the show, Jamie Camil (Rogelio de la Vega) also posted on his Instagram account hinting Longoria's participation in the series. Camil plays the role of Jane's father in the show.

Eva Longoria to Direct

Longoria has been in television for a while now. She appeared in "Desperate Housewives" and that show went on for a long time.

While a lot of fans already saw her act, they will be able to witness how well she can direct a show this time.

There will be a lot to expect in this upcoming season of the popular TV series. Jane will lose her virginity in the third season. It has also been hinted that Michael will be alive and will be back in the show. A new love interest for Jane will develop in Season 3. Jane's mother-in-law will visit Jane and her son, while Michael heals from the incident. Finally, Eva Longoria will direct the third episode of the third season. It surely looks like there will be a lot of interesting events to look forward to.

The confirmation of Longoria to be part of the series has been done by "Jane the Virgin" stars as well as Eva.

Season 3 of "Jane the Virgin" will be back on October 17, 2016.
