Jay-Z and $500,000 Ring Go Public After Blue Ivy Birth
Jay-Z has appeared in public for the first time this week since the birth of his daughter, sporting a new sapphire ring worth $500,000. His appearance came at the re-opening of his club, 40/40.
One source heard Jay-Z explaining that he received the ring as a gift from wife Beyonce, according to Media Takeout. She reportedly wanted to thank him for his support during her pregnancy.
The celebrity couple are not shy about spending their money, and it was also recently reported that Beyonce spent a whopping $22,000 on a new crib for her baby, Blue Ivy Carter.

According to Britain’s Star Magazine, one source has said, “Jay-Z bought Beyonce a solid gold handmade Ginza Tanaka rocking horse for $600,000. They’ve even splashed out on a $30,000 magical windmill playhouse for the garden and a mini Bugatti car, too.”
Other reports have also suggested the couple spent $15,000 on a high chair for Blue.
The insider claimed, “They've got baby charm bracelets and gold and platinum diamond rattles from Tiffany & Co, too.”
