Jennifer Lopez News: Brand New Single 'Ain't Your Mama

Fans of Jennifer Lopez will be happy to hear that she will be releasing her new single this week.

According to TV Guide, Jennifer Lopez's new single is titled, "Ain't Your Mama." A preview of the single was recently revealed, which had Jennifer Lopez singing, "I ain't going cook all day, I ain't your mama. I ain't going to do your laundry, I ain't your mama. Boy, I ain't your mama."

From the preview, there is a feel of Jennifer Lopez's Latin roots in the song, while still reminiscent of her previous tracks. She is expected to perform it during the two-hour special of "American Idol" for the first time. The song will be abailable for purchase on iTunes right after the episode.

Following the release of the song, fans will get a chance to hear Lopez's new album. It was said that this is her first album release under Epic Records. Jennifer Lopez also spoke to People Magazine about her still successful career.

She said, "I've always been a hard worker. I've worked hard for many, many years now and to be at a point in my career where I've been in it for 20-something years and be getting the opportunities and me having a moment like this where I get to as an artist do all the things that I love to do still ... All of it feels like such a blessing."

She also explained that she hopes to continue growing as an artist. She added, "It's the fruits of your labor of trying to be a good person and trying to do the right thing and continuing to grow as an artist, as a human being. It proves to me that it works, and that's what I'm going to continue to do."

Along with Jennifer Lopez's performance, the two-hour finale of "American Idol" will feature Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, as well. Fans will also finally find out who gets to win the coveted award as this season's American Idol.
