Jeremy Lin News: Hornets Guard's May Not Return After Ankle Injury
Following a big loss in Utah on Wednesday's game, it is unclear when Jeremy Lin will be back in the court after he left the game in the third quarter.
Multiple outlets report that Lin suffered an ankle injury during the game that saw a sloppy and seemingly exhausted team. The Hornets won on Monday's bout against the Sacramento Kings. It was a great win as Lin once again took center stage and recorded 20 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds.
However, Utah seemed to be a perfect spot to keep the Hornets from buzzing, and to add more pressure to the team, Lin walked out of the game in the third quarter, never to return for the entire night.

It has been confirmed that the "Linsanity" star won't be joining his team for the game tonight in Portland. This will leave Kemba Walker alone in a battle against the Trail Blazers as it is clear that his gameplay might not work well without his partner.
According to CBS Sports, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer confirmed that Lin sprained his right ankle during the game and there is no immediate news as to when he will be back. Further evaluation is needed to give a specific date for the beloved player's return.
Rumor has it that Aaron Harrison and Brian Roberts might get to spend some time in the court if Lin stays away for the next few weeks.
Lin is an undrafted, California-born, Taiwanese player who hails from Harvard and has had a good run with some teams in the NBA. He first signed as a rookie free agent with Golden State and then was obtained by the New York Knicks in 2012. He then rocketed to Houston and saw some good and mostly bad times.
The undrafted NBA star was then forced out of the Rockets and was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers where he saw himself fall in the hands of the industry's dirty side. Finally, he landed in the Charlotte area and since then has become a good team player that his team wouldn't want to lose.
As of Jan. 27, 2016, Lin is reported to be averaging 12.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists.
