'Jessica Jones' News, Update: Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock To Interact With Krysten Ritter's Alter-Ego Ahead Of 'The Defenders?'
Netflix's own slice of the Marvel world is about to get even bigger with the coming of the Krysten Ritter-starred superhero drama series, "Jessica Jones." The show is slated to stream the entirety of its first season this coming Nov. 20.
While fans may have to wait for a while to see Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Jones appearing on the same screen via "The Defenders," new reports emerged that the blind attorney might be having some interaction with the private investigator in the upcoming 13-episode Netflix series.
Citing the details from the latest episode of Collider's Heroes podcast, show host Jon Schnepp claims that The Man Without Fear will appear in "Jessica Jones," at least in some capacity.
"You're definitely gonna see Matt Murdock in Jessica Jones. That's a fact. He's in it. I don't know how they interact, but he's in the series," Schnepp was quoted as saying.
Fans may have to hold off their excitement for awhile to notice that the Collider correspondent specifically mentioned "Matt Murdock" and not his alter-ego, Daredevil. This information alone could mean everything.
According to a report from i09.com, it can be assumed that Jessica might approach Murdock for some legal advice instead of having a talk about joining up forces to cleanse Hell's Kitchen from the corruption that plagued it.
The website even pointed out that she or Cage might end up working for the attorney "as bodyguards" at his practice, as it happened one time in the comic books.
There's still no specific detail as to which episode will Jones meet Murdock. Nonetheless, this information should be considered as mere rumors until officially confirmed by the network.
For those who missed it, Marvel announced that Rosario Dawson's nurse character Claire Temple will be making the jump from "Daredevil" to "Jessica Jones."
Stay tuned for more updates.
