Jessica Simpson revealed her plans for a big wedding amid reports claiming she and Eric Johnson have set a date.

The fashion mogul, 33, appeared on the "Today" show on Monday where Savannah Guthrie asked about her big day. Simpson and Johnson, 34, will reportedly exchange "I dos" before family and friends over the July 4 weekend in Santa Barbara, California.

"It'll definitely be extravagant. I don't do things small," Simpson revealed about her wedding.

The Weight Watchers ambassador got engaged to the former NFL star in November 2010, five months after they began dating and they share two children, a daughter Maxwell, 2, and son Ace, 10 months. Simpson recently revealed that she is "close" to sending out wedding invitations.

"We are very close to sending out our invites," Simpson told USA Today at the White House Correspondents' Dinner earlier this month.

"I've been very picky on how I want everything to look and feel. Eric's family alone is almost 90 people, so it'll definitely be a big event," she added.

The couple initially hoped to wed in Capri, Italy, which reportedly holds fond memories for them, however, they decided that it would be "too much" to ask their friends to fly to Europe, Us magazine reported.

The wedding will mark second marriages for the pair. Simpson was once married to singer Nick Lachey, while Johnson is divorced from Keri Johnson.

New details surrounding the former singer's wedding dress have been revealed. A source claims she will not wear white.

"Jessica is having something unique made," the source said. "It will be very different from the Vera Wang she wore to wed Nick Lachey [in 2002]."

Johnson proposed to Simpson with a five-carat ruby Neil Lane ring months after meeting her. The couple plan on keeping their big day private.
