'Jurassic World' Sequel Spoilers: Bryce Dallas Howard Says 'There Better Not Be Heels' For Her Character

Not much is known about "Jurassic World 2," the follow-up to the phenomenally successful "Jurassic World," which was the highest-grossing film of 2015 until it was eclipsed by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in December.

The film, which starred Chris Pratt as Velociraptor expert Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as Jurassic World operations manager Claire Dearing, had a reported budget of $150 million and earned over $1.6 billion. It is the highest-grossing installment in the "Jurassic Park" franchise.

As such, it came as no surprise when it was announced that another "Jurassic World" film is in development, with Frank Marshall as producer and Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow as executive producers. The sequel's producers have mostly kept mum about the project but Howard, who is set to reprise her role as Dearing in the sequel, says that she knows "some stuff" about the forthcoming film.

"I can't tell you anything, but here's what I'll say: Every single time I bump into Colin [Trevorrow] and Derek [Connolly]...I, like, corner them and harass them until they tell me something," the actress told E! News at the Sundance Film Festival. "They've told me some stuff and I'm so excited," she revealed.

Howard also addressed fans' criticism of her character's footwear in the 2015 blockbuster hit, saying, "That was part of Jurassic World." "They served their purpose," she said. According to the actress, Claire's pristine white business suit and stilettos were a sort of "armor" that she was finally able to ditch by the end of the film.

"Claire is a different person now," she said. "The chick at the end is totally different."

"So, there better not be heels!" she exclaimed.

The sequel to "Jurassic World," which Trevorrow has said won't be called "Jurassic World 2," is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 22, 2018.
