Kate Hudson, Matthew Bellamy 'On The Rocks?'
Kate Hudson and fiancé Matthew Bellamy are reportedly headed for a breakup, according to a source close to the actress.
The couple have been together nearly three years and are parents to a two-year-old son, Bing. However, Hudson and Bellamy are "on the rocks," according to a source at People.com.
"Kate and Matt have been on the rocks for some time," the insider said. "They're not in a great place."
During Christmastime, Hudson missed her mother Goldie Hawn's annual Christmas getaway in Aspen in order to spend time with Bellamy in Australia. Since returning to the U.S., the actress has not been spotted with Bellamy at all. Most recently, "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" star was photographed solo at Bulgari's Decades House at L.A.'s Soho House, and she was not wearing her diamond engagement ring.
Nevertheless, the source close to Hudson and Bellamy said that the pair are not necessarily breaking up, and that they are still living together.
"Kate is not giving up," the insider added.
Despite the reports suggesting trouble, Hudson recently opened up about her wedding plans with Bellamy.
"I'm planning nothing right now," Hudson told "Kelly and Michael Live!" hosts in January. "I'm so busy, we've been so busy and it's been great."
Furthermore, the actress explained her "unconventional" take on marriage, citing her mother's partner Kurt Russell, whom she calls "Dad" despite the actor not being her biological father.
"I come from an unconventional family- they're not married, my parents aren't married," said Hudson. "So there's a part of me that goes, if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right. And I'm going to take the time to really plan it right… And it's a lot."
"Planning a wedding is a lot," she continued. "I mean, I did a movie about planning a wedding and that was a lot, let alone actually planning a wedding! So no, not anytime soon, no."
Despite the lull in planning, Hudson previously admitted said that her 10-year-old son Ryder from a previous relationship wants Bellamy as a stepfather, and that she will indeed marry the Muse front man.
"We will get married," the actress told Elle U.K. "I do think it is important, but we have no plans. [Ryder] wants a party. For me, it's not the legal part that is important, it's what it means to the family."
