Kate Hudson's Birthday News: Wedding-Themed Celebrations Stars Veils and Hollywood Celebs

It was one "hot mess" party when Kate Hudson invited other Hollywood celebrities and friends as she celebrated her 37th birthday and though the weekend festivities were actually a joint celebration get-together, the actress stunned social media with her posts.

According to People, Hudson held the party at her Pacific Palisades, California home as part of the annual "Hot Mess" celebrations with jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer and writer Derek Blasberg.

To spice up the night, Rachel Zoe arrived in a black and white striped gown, while Demi Moore opted for a mostly black ensemble. Chris Martin was also spotted wearing dark long sleeves with a blue shirt underneath, and a black bonnet.

In one of the photos Hudson uploaded on Instagram, she is and Meyer donned white veils, while Blasberg wore a black shirt with a tuxedo print. She captioned the photo: "It was some night love you guys #NothingLikeAJointBday #AprilBabies #AnnualHotMessParty #WeddingEdition."

Entertainment Tonight reports that the birthday girl wore a lace crop top and fishnet tights that blew the party away. She also crimped her hair to add more fun to her all-out getup.

Included in her list of guests are Gwyneth Paltrow and boyfriend Brad Falchuk, Oliver Hudson, who opted for a Playboy-themed tie, Poppy Delevingne, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sara Foster, Jamie Schneider Mizrahi, Rumer Willis, Naomi Campbell, Erin Foster, and many more. Most of the lady guests wore white while the others dressed up as bridesmaids.

E! News adds that before the Saturday festivities, Hudson already started celebrating her birthday and went out with her mom, Goldie Hawn. Together, they received a surprise number from DT Model Management guys. On the evening, they had dinner with some of Hudson's close friends at Nobu.

When the party wrapped up, Hudson revealed on social media that her brother, Oliver, helped her make breakfast as it was just a "typical morning after" a wild and fun night with the gals.
